That means:

Real example:
A bedroom styled as a dark, pet-themed space struggled to connect with buyers. After refreshing it and staging it as a standard bedroom, buyers could finally see the room’s potential—and its value.

Staging is about space, not stuff.

In many homes, especially smaller ones, the biggest impact comes from:

• clearing surfaces

• eliminating rugs that visually shrink rooms
