What a wonderful text to receive from a previous client who recommended us!
We were initially told the buyers (and sellers) were still shopping around for a real estate agent, but they gave them our number and hoped they would call... and they did!
We are very used to people shopping around for an agent. We don't take it personally, we don't try and "sell" ourselves, and we don't worry about it. It is just the nature of the business we are in.
Our philosophy on the subject of shopping for an agent is just to just be ourselves. Listen to what the customer wants and be the very best help to them we can be and treat everyone we work with just like family.
Absolutely we let the customer know we are a sibling team and what that means for them. We give full disclosure that when they call, either one of us could answer. And when they text or email, we are both part of the discussion. We also let them know that whoever is "working with them" on a particular piece, that both of us behind the scenes are communicating and completely working together.
So this text was such a wonderful surprise. Tina was the one who took the initial call from the customer... that is how we planned it and soon Lew will be involved doing what Lew does best.
We are so grateful to all of you who have supported our family business and all who continue to send us referrals. It has been an incredible beginning to a new year and our new brokerage LPT Realty.
